Will you stain my neighbour's side?
Only with their say-so. We can quote both properties together and split the setup cost.
Paint or stain?
Stain is the default — it weathers better on rough pine palings. Solid paint is a different job.
How often should I restain?
Every 3–4 years for most Hutt fences. North-facing and coastal faces fail sooner.
